German Embassy in Ukraine has initiated program of state official exchange with Ukraine.
Ditmar Schtudemann German Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador informed that the program will contribute mutual relations and experience exchange between countries.
He stated that on 17-28 July young Ukrainian state officials visited Germany on German Exterior Ministry's invitation. Ukrainians got to know the structure, functions and methods of governmental and departmental work.
The Ambassador said that the next visit of Ukrainian group was planned on October. Schtudeman expects such visits to become constant actions. Germany is interested in study of Ukrainian state offices as well, the Ambassador added.
He pointed out the fact that German ambassadors do not understand the process of passing solutions done by Ukrainian ambassadors towards Germany. "It is uneasy but it can be explained. You are the ancient country but your state is too young," stated Ditmar Schtudemann.
"Ukraine must overcome the heritage and convey it surreptitiously into new quality. Ukraine are still in the process of transformation and formation of stable and strong institutions which you did not have," added the Ambassador.
According to him, "too many decisions are passed in this country by concrete persons and by private relations."
