Minister of Health of Ukraine, Nickolay Polishxhuk, assures that nobody was infected with HIV through syringes found on the Crimea beaches.

Used syringes were found on private lands and beaches’ nearby territory. Eight people, who suffered a trauma from syringe’s needles, are undergoing a course of treatment. There was not any registered case of HIV infection because of the "syringe incident."

Hygiene and epidemiological service conducted preventive actions. Water samples were examined in laboratories every two hours. No infection and harmful pollution were found.

All beaches, closed before for examination, were opened on Saturday. "Crimea is safe seaside resort for today," said Minister.
