Lucenko to settle the problem of extradition with Russia

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine plans to conduct negotiations with Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia on extradition of Ukrainian bureaucrats suspected of crimes, Yuri Lucenko Interior Minister of Ukraine reported in the press conference in Khmelnitsky.

"There are lots of Ukrainian governors and high authorities hiding in Russia," stated Lucenko.

Lucenko pointed out that the relations between Ukraine and Russia are still a bit cold and they need to be settled. He pointed out that neighbors’ relations cannot be in such condition. According to his words, the struggle with crime does not have borders.

Previously, Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs sent a request to Russian Interior Ministry to find out the locations and citizenship of Sergey Kivalov Chairman of Electoral Commission, Nikolay Bilokon ex-Minister of Interior Affairs of Ukraine, Vladimir Shcherban ex-Chairman of Sumy Regional State Administration and Ruslan Bodelan Odessa ex-Mayor.
