As reported in the press-service of Defense Ministry, this topic was not discussed during the visit of Minister of Defense Anatoly Gritsenko to Tel-Aviv on July 24-26. The question was about general measures of security strengthening in the region and deepening of cooperation between Defense departments of Ukraine and Israel.
"All reports concerning the return of cruise-missiles from Iran are provocative ones and are aimed to worsen relationships between Ukraine and countries of Near-Eastern region," says the statement of Defense Ministry.
As a reminder, Israel has asked the government of Ukraine to demand that Iran return 12 long-range cruise missiles purchased during the tenure of the previous Ukrainian government via arms dealers whom the current government claims were acting illegally.
The issue was raised during Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko's visit to Israel last week, Haaretz.com reported.
However, Ukraine has not yet responded to Israel's request, and it seems doubtful that Iran would agree to return the missiles in any case.
