National TV Company of Ukraine confirmed that Victor Yushchenko would not address Ukrainian people on the air this month. Broadcasting of this address is postponing during two months already.
The press-service of President does not name the exact date of the air, but asserts that the delay is not connected with political or economical situation in the country.
The idea to hold live broadcast with Yushchenko’s participation occurred during the presidential election campaign. Yushchenko promised that in the case of his election he would address TV audience regularly.
On May 27 the press-secretary of President, Irene Gerashchenko, promised that Victor’s Yushchenko TV addresses to Ukrainian people would be broadcasted every month.
The first address had to take place at the beginning of July, as reported by Gerashchenko.
