Today Viktor Yushchenko President of Ukraine discharged Sergey Farenik, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany.
It was preceded by the accusations done by General Office of Public Prosecutor of Ukraine against Farenik and Aleksey Gvozd, the president of "Ukrtransbud" (Ukrainian Transport Construction). They were accused of inflicting 60 million UAH ($12 million) losses. The losses were caused by forgery of documents.
Sergey Farenik repudiated the charges of Ukrainian Prosecutor about forgery concerning the documents of "Ukrasiabud" (Ukrainian Asian Construction) corporation in 2002-2004.
General Prosecutor in turns instituted an investigation based on the fact of forgery. Farenik is prohibited to leave Ukraine till the end of investigation.
