Kherson Regional State Administration made a request to The Cabinet of Ukraine. The theme of request is a loan of 4.1 million UAH for utilization of chemical weed-killers.
According to words of Valery Afanasyev, Chief of Regional Department on Civil Defense of People and Territory, the loan should be given from ecological fund of State budget. "It needs 2.5 million UAH," stated Afanasyev.
After that the chemical weed-killers are to send to Shostka plant on processing of unusable chemicals (Elga ltd. Company in Shostka town of Sumy region).
The press service of Ministry of Emergency Control of Ukraine in Kherson region reported that there are 844 tones of improper storing chemical weed-killers found in the region. 670 tones out of them are unknown chemicals.
