The Secretary o National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, and the Secretary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (ShCO), Chjan Deguanu, agreed about cooperation between GUAM and ShCO.
As reported by the press-service of NSDC, their meeting was hold during the visit of Ukrainian delegation to China.
During the meeting Deguanu informed Poroshenko about activity of Shanghai Organization, told about functions and work of structure’s departments, financial providing.
Besides, Chjan Deguanu paid Poroshenko’s attention to the activity of ShCO antiterrorist center, which develop measures to fight terrorism, extremism and separatism.
The Secretary of NSDC told Deguanu about GUAM activity.
The both sides agreed to arrange constructive cooperation between two organizations.
As a reminder, Shanghai Cooperation Organization unites China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tadzhikistan and Uzbekistan.
