Navy of Ukraine is finishing now the preparation to submarine-coast stage of international exercise "Shield of the World-2005." The exercises will take place in Crimea on August 3-13.
Among the participants are following: marines company, two storm-ships, rescue tag and diving boat of Navy of Ukraine; US marines company; Georgian platoon; Azerbaijani squad.
About ten countries will send their observers there.
The target of the maneuvers is to improve cooperation of headquarters and divisions of the states-participants, to share the experience gained in the peacemaking operations. According to project, the exercises will use the elements of military and political situation existing in Iraq.
The first stage of the exercises is taking place in Kiev. It is command-headquarter stage which is to last till July 25.
