In Tokyo the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is conduction negations with the Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi. At the beginning of the negotiations Ukrainian President presented a book "Tak! Yushchenko" about the "orange revolution" to the Prime Minister.

Ukrainian Pesident explained that "Tak" means "Hai" ("Yes" in Japanese – ed.).

It is planned that, as a result of the negotiations, the Presidents will sign a joint statement about new Ukrainian-Japanese partnership in 21st century.

Besides, during the meeting, Victor Yushchenko will return a flag of WWII times to Japan.

According to data from Japanese foreign department, this flag was exhibited in the Museum of Great Patriotic War in Kiev, and since April 2004 Japanese side has asked the Ukrainian government to return it .

After the President Yushchenko gives the flag to the Japanese Prime Minister, it will be delivered to its owner, 81-year-old Josisato Jamamura.
