The former head of the Kiev regional state administration, Anatoly Zasukha left Ukraine for Byelorussia, as reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Yurii Lutsenko, in an interview for the "5th channel" yesterday in the evening.

According to him, Zasukha went into hiding just after the criminal case was instituted against him. The minister didn’t manage to answer the question about the concrete location of the former head of Kiev region.

"I think that he will go to Moscow soon…the necessary authorities have already gathered there," stressed Lutsenko.

As a reminder, on July 12 an international search was called after Zasukhov by the central bureau of Interpol in Ukraine.

Zasukha is accused of abuse of power and official forgery, and also of implication in drug business.
