Nikolay Khudyakov, the head of the export department of "Rovenkiantratsyt" state holding company was shot yesterday at about 6 p.m.
The killer had shot twice and then disappeared. The police detained the driver who carried the criminal to the office. Among the causes of the murder, the agencies called the coal export operations which were under the victim's charge.
The version of the revenge to the father by son's death is included to the list of the causes. The father is involved in coal-mining business.
Nikolay Khudyakov had been the head of the “Kievskaya” mine for a long time, but in the beginning of January 2005, he was seated the director-general of "Lugansk Coal Company."
"Lugansk Coal Company" is the biggest coal enterprise of the region. It was formed by the decree of Leonid Kuchma, the ex-President of Ukraine in the summer of 2004 and existed till the end of May, 2005. The company was created on the basis of following enterprises:"Luganskugol" (Lugansk Coal), "Pervomayskugol," "Donbassantratsit," "Antratsit," "Rovenkiantratsit" and "Sverdlovantratsit."
