Bulgarian Bourgas-based oil refinery LUKoil Neftochim will export fuel to Ukraine, in order to close a supply gap that will result from the temporary shutdown of the LUKoil refinery in Odessa, Reporter.gr informed.

The Odessa plant stoppage will last two years at most to allow the facility to be modernized.

The cost of the modernization will amount to nearly 500 million euro.

The Bulgarian refinery said it has the necessary idle capacity so as to meet the supply demands of the Ukrainian market.
