Viktor Yanukovich, the leader of "Party of the Regions," reckons Leonid Kravchuk's initiation to form public forum called - "Let's Consolidate Ukraine," is quite timely and necessary one.
To his opinion, only strong consolidated actions of opposition can resist the fatal course of new power directed to the destruction of the economy, the freedoms of Ukrainians and the relationship with Russia.
"The initiation made by Leonid Kravchuk, the first President of Ukraine who benefited much the democracy in Ukraine, proved again that the situation in the country is really difficult. I believe that the personal authority of Leonid Kravchuk and the readiness of all constructive forces, our party included, to work for the consolidation of the society and improvement of life, will give us possibility to overcome the existing problem," mentioned Viktor Yanukovich.
