Dickinson State University has entered into a partnership with a Fargo machinery company and agriculture schools in Russia and Ukraine, KXMA reported.

DSU officials say the idea is to develop international business relationships in the foreign countries.

Russia's Nizhniy Novgorod State Agriculture Academy and the National Agriculture University of the Ukraine are taking part.

Fargo's Titan Machinery will work with the schools -- and is offering a $2,500 scholarship to attend DSU. The students can also work at the company during the summer.

Dickinson State agriculture department chairman Gary White says the Ukrainian and Russian students will learn about agriculture and business in the United States, as well as getting to know the American culture.
