The head of "Naftogaz Ukraina" National Joint-stock Company, Aleksey Ivchenko, has written the resignation and sent it to the speaker of Verkhovna Rada Volodymir Litvin, the press service of the company reported.
Aleksey Ivchenko has been the deputy of Ukraine since April 2002. In the beginning of March 2005, he was appointed the first deputy minister of fuel and energy of Ukraine. He was the member of Nasha Ukraina (Our Ukraine) faction and the head of the parliamentary Committee on Legislative Security of Law-enforcement Activity.
He is the head of the Congress Ukrainian Nationalists Party.
