Today the fourth international Bulgakov festival of art started in Kiev, reported the artistic director of "Theatre on Podol", Vitaly Malakhov, on the press-conference, ForUm’s correspondent informed.

According to Malakhov, the festival is devoted to Bulgakov’s works "White Guards" and "The Turbins’ Days."

"'White Guards' is a work, which creates the icon of father’s home…And Kiev is such home for all of us," said Malakhov.

The artistic director of "Theatre on Podol" pointed out that the aim of the festival is "to force Kievers, Ukrainians and the whole world to examine details in order to grow fonder of our home, our Kiev."

In his turn, the Polish director, Machea Voitishko, reported that tomorrow he would represent the performance "Bulgakov", devoted to the last days of life of the great master.
