The soldiers arrived in Crimea on a commission of the president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko. The mission consists of the personnel of Kiev special motorized police brigade and Bars special division.
The target of the mission is to keep and maintain order along with the local law enforcement bodies during the health resort season.
The additional forces will take part in operative-preventive operations for two months. They will keep order on the territory of Simferopol, Yalta, Kerch, Evpatoriay, Alushta, Feodosiay, Saki towns and Chernomorsky, Razdolnensky, Bakhchisaray and Leninsky regions, UNIAN reported.
The soldiers of the mission previously took part in the same kind of operations in Kiev and Kiev region, Donetsk and Transcarpathian.
