General Office of Public Prosecutor called the chief editor of the "Ukrainian newspaper," Mikhail Podolyaka, for interrogation in connection with the case of Yushchenko’s poisoning.
The reason for interrogation is the article "the Lord's Supper," printed by the edition on June 15, 2005, "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.
The article says about independent journalistic investigation of the Yushchenko’s poisoning case. The results of it suppose a possibility of involving of some present high ranked officials from Yushchenko’s surrounding.
"The last issue of 'Ukrainian newspaper' did not publish the continuation of the scandal journalistic investigation. Evidently, some official is not interested in detecting this case," said the editor.
Podolyak also hopes that his interrogation "has nothing in common with the new wave of repressions against journalists."
