Kiev city police detained the 14-year-old teenager, who was engaged in making and selling of false money, reported the press-service of the Head Office of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The pupil of one of Kiev school was making without assistance the notes of national monetary unit. The teenager was selling one and five hryvnias bonds to children of the same age at the half price, and 50 hryvnias bonds he marketed in trade putlets.
During the search in the boy’s apartment police withdrew a computer, printer, scanner and a device for paper cutting. Altogether the teenager managed to sell one thousand false notes.

Podolsky district police department brought a criminal action according to the article 199 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (production, purchase or selling of false money), punitive sanctions of which provide for three-seven years of imprisonment.
