"The Days of Ukraine in Europe" will take place in Paris on June 21-23.
The action will take place due to the initiation and with assistance of Ukrainian Embassy in France and International Social-Patriotic Fund "The Days of Ukraine."
The president of the Fund, Maxim Timoshenko, reported that the same action took place in Cannes, Nice and Monte-Carlo in the last year, on June. This is the first time the action will take place in Paris, Interfax-Ukraine informed.
According to his words, "this great project on Champs de Mars will be unveiled by the performances of the ensembles 'Magic Strings' and the famous tenor, Vladimir Grishko." The organizers expect more than two thousand people to come and see it.
The exhibitions of Ukrainian famous artists, Tatiana Golembievskaya and Ivan Marchuk, will take place in the same day in Paris. The awarded by Golden Palm documentary "Travelers" by Igor Strembitsky will be on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the grand opening of Anna Kievskaya's monument will take place in Sanlis town. The president of Ukraine is expected to take part in it. The monument was created by Ukrainian sculptor, Nikolay Zaznoba.
Timoshenko says that the aim of the action is to introduce Europeans with Ukraine and to make Ukraine closer to Europe.
He points to the fact that the action is organized at the expense of Ukrainian and French patrons' charitable contributions.
According to his words, the next action will be "The days of Ukraine in Europe" in European capitals. The action will be under the patronage of UNESCO in October. Ukrainian best children ensemble "Shchedrik" will represent Ukraine in the World Sacred Festival under the patronage of the Pope Benedict XVI.
