The session of Kiev Borough Council accepted decision about the rename of Industrialnaya Street. It will be name Georgy Gongadze Street.
The decision was submitted with Gongadze’s relatives.
There were the opponents of it. They demanded to conduct Gallup poll before the renaming, Tribuna reported. According to their opinion, the people living in the neighborhood might be "associate the street with cruel murder."
