International investment forum "Special round table, devoted to Ukraine" will start today in Kiev. This "mini-Davos" will last two days, June 16-17.
It is expected that the president of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvilli, the president of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, the president of Estonia, Arnold Ruitel, the president of Poland, Alexander Kvasnevsky, and the economic and finance commissar of Eurocommission, Jose Almuniy, will take part in the forum.
The conference is organized by World Economic Forum jointly with the government of Ukraine, and will be conducted under patronage of Victor Yushchenko.
Some 250 business, political heavyweights, representatives of international and public organizations, scientists and Mass-Medias converge on Kiev Thursday for the conference.
The goal of the forum is to discuss issues of investment attraction of Ukraine, fight with corruption, development of cooperation between Ukraine, Russia and EU.
