According to data from State tax administration of Ukraine, 1 871 citizens of Ukraine got more that one million UAH income for 2004.
The deputy chairman of the administration, Sergey Lekar, reported that only 586 citizens among above mentioned declared about their incomes. The State tax administration will examine the others (1 285 persons).
Lekar underlined that incomes of Ukrainians increased for the last year. Besides, citizens became more competent and conscientious concerning tax payment. According to him, the sum of tax from investment income of some citizens makes 40 million UAH
