Litvin to meet with the vice-president of Bulgaria

The speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Vladimir Litvin, conducted the meeting with the vice-president of Bulgaria, Angel Marin.

In the course of the meeting the representatives of two states discussed the coming parliamentary elections in Bulgaria and Ukraine. According to Marin's words, "the relationships between two countries would not be influenced by the changes of different coalitions in the parliaments."

Litvin pointed to the fact that relationships between Bulgaria and Ukraine were the standard of effectiveness and stability in the modern conditions. "We emphasize the development of the interparliamentarian relations which are based on the Agreement on co-operation between the legislative bodies of our countries signed in 2004," said the speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Angel Marin expressed his thanks for the creation of proper conditions for the Bulgarian minorities living in Ukraine, the press service of Verkhovna Rada reported.

The possibilities of co-operation in the Oraganization of Black Sea Economic Co-operation and GUAM were under discussion between two officials.
