The violations of metrological indexes, especially runout, were registered on the filling stations in ten regions of Ukraine and Sevastopol city. The acting chief of the Department on consumer policy and consumers’ rights protection, Alexander Nikityuk, informed about it today.
According to his words, the violations were registered in the following regions: Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev, Lvov, Rivno, Khmelnitsk, Cherkassy, Chernovtsy, Chernigov and Crimea. The crucial situation with oil quality and safety was observed in seven regions of Ukraine, such as: Lvov, Rivno, Ternopol, Vinnitsa, Kiev, Kharkov and Zaporozhye. The number of violations exceeds 70% of the number of examined cases, "Liga" reported.
Nikityuk mentioned that the violation of the accompanying license was frequently observed – 73%, the metrological providing – 62%, quality and safety of oil – 38%. Nikityuk characterized the second and the third violations as the extremely rude ones. “Such violations hit the consumers,” he added.
Besides, Nikityuk reported that in course of control there were 2.25 million liters of omitted oil out of 12.4 million liters of examined fuel. There were violations in 429 filing stations out of 556 examined ones. There were 413 protocols composed and 327 infringers being brought an action. The total sum of penalties accounted UAH 44,400. 29 subjects of economy activity were charged to pay UAH117,100.
