The Ukrainian military delegation at the head of the minister of Defence of Ukraine, Anatoly Gritsenko, departed for Brussels today to take part in the meetings of "Ukraine-NATO" Commission and Council of euroatlantic partnership at the level of heads of military departments.
During the meeting of “Ukraine-NATO” Commission, which will take place in Alliance HQ, it is planned to discuss the questions of reformation of security and defence sector of Ukraine and attraction of Ukrainian Armed Forces divisions to take part in peace support operations under the aegis of NATO.
The same day Gritsenko will meet with the Secretary General of NATO Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the assistant of Secretary General on political relations and security policy, the Ambassador Gunter Altenburg, the US Defence Minister, Donald Rumsfeld, the Defence Minister of Germany Peter Struck, and Defence Minister of Norway, Christina Krohn Devold.
On June 10 Gritsenko will participate in the meeting of Euroatlantic partnership Council at the level of Defence Ministers.
