Top human rights official of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Nina Karpachyova announced the contest for the filling the position of top children rights official. She declared it coming out in the parliament hearings "Providing of children rights in Ukraine, Maternity and child protection."
According to her words, the institution of top human rights official of Verkhovna Rada starts realization of the project concerning the creation of the institution of top children rights official, "UNIAN" reported.
She pointed to the fact that contest conditions must be determined by children themselves. The children must fill the very position. She thought that senior pupils - a girl and a boy - must be the representatives of all children.
"I am definitely sure that exactly children not the grown up, must represent the convention on children rights and teach each other to fight for their rights from their childhood," said Karpachyova.
