The leader of Party of Regions, Viktor Yanukovich, has been invited to give evidence to the General department on fight with organized crime of the Ministry of Internal affairs of Ukraine on Monday, MIGnews.com.ua reported.
According to the head of the ministry’s public relations department, Konstiantin Stognia, the notice was handed to the Yanukovich’s advocate, Elena Lukash, while another notice was sent to the Yanukovich’s workplace - the Party of Regions headquarters - "Zoryanyy" cinema.
In turn, Lukash informed that Yanukovich would attend the interrogation "if she manages to pass the notice to him by 11 a.m. today." Meanwhile, she expressed doubt that "she would handle this task due to the work schedule." The Yanukovich’s lawyer also failed to state the exact date of his return from Moscow.

Victor Yanukovich is to be interrogated concerning the illegal transfer of about 5 million UAH from the state budget for the needs of Donetsk airport in order to purchase technical devices.
