Journalists of web-media were proposed to initiate the creation of legislative base for web-media existence, the press secretary of Ukrainian president, Irina Gerashchenko, said on the press-conference.
"The web-newspapers exist de facto but not de jure. They are interesting. They influence society and have their own audience," said Gerashchenko.
The deputy state secretary of Ukraine, Markiyan Lubkivsky, called the problem of legislative base for web resources the very difficult point.
"The question of legislation of web must be thoroughly examined and discussed by the society and Mass-Media. The ways and methods of legislation should be defined," said Lubkivsky.
"We do not speak about control on information sphere. We just want to protect our children from porno, xenophobia, racism and international strife," added he.
