Ukraine General Investigation Agency finished prejudicial inquiry of the criminal case instituted against the head of Donetsk Regional Council, Boris Kolesnikov; the press service of the General Office of Public Prosecutor informed.
He is accused of commission the crime provided by article 189, part 4 and article 364 part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: extortion of the property rights repeatedly and in agreement with group of persons; prevarication; threat of murder; damaging of especially large size, "UNIAN" reported.
The premises articles apply the following sanctions: imprisonment for 7-12 years and confiscation of property; imprisonment for 5-8 years and deprivation of right to take certain posts or to do some activity for three years.
The criminal case will be sent to the court in order to be examined by the accused and his defense.
We remind that Kolesnikov was arrested on April 6 and kept under arrest for two months.
