The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has met with the new appointed ambassadors of foreign countries, who handed him credential letters.

Handing the credential letter, the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Moldova in Ukraine, Mikhail Laur, pointed out the development of relationships between Ukraine and Moldova and expressed a hope on further intensification of mutual relations in political, economical and social spheres.

The Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Spain in Ukraine, Luis Xavier Hil Catalina, admitted that he "considers it an honour to be the Ambassador in Ukraine, when the whole world looks at it with new expectations."

Mario Hilberman, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Chile in Ukraine assured the Ukrainian president that he "will promote the development of mutual relations" between Ukraine and Chile.

The Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Ukraine and Russia, Abelilah Mohamed Al Kurdi, gave greetings from the king of Jordan, who charged the Ambassador to improve relations with Ukraine.

Taking the credential letters, the head of Ukrainian state congratulated each Ambassador with the appointment and wished effective work.

The minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Boris Tarasuk, and the deputy of the state secretary, Alexander Motsik, also took part in the ceremony.
