The head of temporal parliamentary commission charged with the investigation of the murder of the journalist George Gongadze, Alexander Omelchenko, declared that the Commission has information about probable whereabouts of the journalist’s head. He said that this information has been delivered to General Office of Public Prosecutor and will be examined in the near future.

He refused to give any details concerning this case.

Besides, Omelchenko reported that it has been found and established the police car of the former head of Criminal reconnaissance Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the general Alexey Pukach.

Omelchenko specified that "the murder was committed in Byelotserkovsky district of Kiev region. Pukach throttled Gongadze. The head was cut before burial."

The head of the Commission asserts that it was found human blood marks in this car, which was used for transportation of Gongadze’s body. According to Omelchenko General Office of Public Prosecutor has already set the examination.

We remind, George Gongadze disappeared on September 16, 2000. On November the same year headless body was found in the forest of Kiev region. According to examination the body belonged to the journalist. Gongadze’s body has not committed to the earth until now.
