Today in Warsaw the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will appear on 3rd Summit of EC - Council heads of state and government.

In the morning the president will have informal meetings with the heads of delegations of countries, which will take part in Summit work.

Then Yushchenko will participate in the first meeting of delegations’ heads on the subject "European unity and European values", during which Yushchenko will make a speech.

It is also planned Yushchenko’s meeting with the prime minister of Greece Konstantinos Karamanlis, the president of Austria Heinz Fischer, the prime minister of Portugal George Sorkatesh.

After a lunch in honour of the heads of Summit delegations on behalf of the prime minister of Poland Marek Belke, the president of Ukraine will take part in the second plenary meeting of Summit on the subject "Challenges thrown down to European society."

The agenda also includes Yushchenko’s meeting with the president of Finland Tarja Halonen and the prime minister of Norway Kiel Magne Bondevic.

In the evening it is planned a short meeting of the president of Ukraine with representatives of Ukrainian Mass-Medias. After the press-conference he will take part in an official dinner in honour of the heads of Summit delegations on behalf of the president of Poland Alexander Kvasnevsky.

Yushchenko will leave for Kiev on Monday, at 10:30 p.m.
