FC "Shakhter" initiated the transfer of 50 thousand USD for flood victims in Romania, the press-service of FC reported.
According to the press-service, FC "Shakhter" has never been indifferent to tragedies of people and always extended a helping hand to them, as it was after accidents on coal mines of Ukraine or wreck of Russian atomic submarine "Kursk", KID informed.
"Shakhter" was deeply touched by the calamity, caused by the flood in the Western Romania. Huge territories and numerous buildings, important highways and railways found themselves under water, thousands people were evacuated".

FC "Shakhter" could not be aside from the tragedy also due to special relationships with Romania. The club is coached by Romanian specialist, Mircea Lucescu, there are also players of Romanian National Team in "Shakhter" - Ciprian Marika, Flavius Stoikan, Razvan Rat, Kosmin Barkeuan.
