The head of Security Service of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov reported that the former major of state security Nickolay Melnichenko is ready to give testimonies to United States' FBI officials and to give materials and technical equipment.
Besides, according to him, there is an agreement with the director of FBI. "I hope, 'Gongadze’s case' will advance in the near future," he said.
Turchinov told that during his visit to the USA he talked to the ex-major and agreed about interrogation.
Turchinov expressed a hope that thanks to Melnichenko’s testimonies the investigation would be able to find the customers of the murder of the journalist George Gongadze.
