Mikhail Andtrienko, the head of Department of struggle against human traffic, speaks in support of legalization of prostitution, DVC reported.
As he said, this is a usual practice for many European countries. In these countries prostitutes pay taxes to the state budget. For example, highest taxes earnings in Istanbul’s budget are received from brothels.
According to unofficial information, traffic in illicit sex-business in Kiev was now worth some 5.5 million USD a month.
"I think we must legalize it", - Andrienko said.
