The vice-president of the Russian-Britain oil company TNK-BP Tony Considine declared in an interview to Russian Mass-Medias about intention to leave Ukrainian oil market in order to search alternative markets for oil treated in Ukraine. He expressed displeasure concerning measures of Ukrainian government, which tries to contain the price increase for fuel.
Alexander Gudima, the head of the parliamentary committee on fuel and energy complex, considers that intention of TNK-BP Company to leave Ukrainian market will not cause big problems for Ukraine. Besides, Gudima excluded the possibility of export of treated in Ukraine oil, as it contradicts the investment engagements of Russian owners and Ukrainian petroleum refineries.
