People’s deputies of Ukraine adopted the law, which forbids producing tobacco products, which do not satisfy marking requirements, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

This law forbids selling tobacco products and related goods to persons less than 18 years-old, and also tobacco products which do not have medical warning about their harm on a package.

According to the adopted law, advertising of tobacco products on radio, TV, printed editions for children and youth, cinema, theatre, and also advertisement on billboards, screens, building fronts and posters is also forbidden.

The law provides for that owners of public institutions must grant to smokers no more than 50% of space of these public institutions.

Law breakers will pay a fine from 50 gryvnas to 50 thousand gryvnas, depending on degree of gravity.
