The Russian businessman Boris Beresovsky, who lives in London, asks for meeting with the president of Ukraine to give him ten hard disks with recodes of talks in Leonid Kuchma’s cabinet, made by Melnichenko.

Grygory Omelchenko, the head of parliamentary commission charged with the investigation of Georgy Gongadze’s murder, reported about it in an interview to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"Beresovsky said he does not want to be considered a blackmailer; that is why he wants to give the records to the president of Ukraine personally. If Yushchenko refuses to take them, the records will be given to the investigative commission, which I head", declared Omelchenko.

Besides, Omelchenko reported about Beresovsky’s readiness to give evidence in connection with "Gongadze’s case". "He agrees to be interrogated, if the General prosecution will address him officially. Now, the question about Beresovsky’s visa to Ukraine is discussed", the head of the commission added.
