The PM of Ukraine Taras Chornovil has been refused the request to renew the case about his father’s, Vyacheslav Chornovil, death.
"Yesterday I had got an official letter from Security Service of Ukraine, signed by the deputy of the SSU chief, in which Security Service refused to reopen the criminal case of Vyacheslav’s Chornovil death", - the deputy said in the interview to a ForUm's correspondent.
"The deputy of the prosecutor general Victor Shokin declared that "Chornovil’s case" was renewed to no purpose. Besides, this case was investigated by Kolyada (the deputy of the minister of internal affairs – ed.). All these facts prove that people, involved in the murder of Vyacheslav Chornovil, control the whole situation now (investigation of the case – ed.)", - Taras Chornovil underlined.
Chornovil also underlined that "promises, given by the new administration concerning "Chornovil’s case" and "Gongadze’s case", are not worth of even the paper they are written on".
"I hoped that there are no people, related to the murder of Vyacheslav Chornovil, in the new government. But all my hopes were vain", - the deputy said.
