The United States of America intends to lower the cost of multi-visa for Ukrainians from 165 to 100 USD, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports, "versii.com.ua" informs.
Such agreement was reached over the meeting between the Chief of Consulate Service Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Mr. Nikolaj Tochitzkyy and the US Consul General - Marry Kay Carlson on Wednesday. The sides also agreed that from March 31 the American embassy will launch the simplified procedure of non-immigration visa to those who have formerly obtained American visas, including students and exchange programs’ participants.
The US part will begin data processing and granting immigration visas for the Ukrainians, apart from the so-called "green card" owners in the Kiev’s embassy, where starting from May, 3 the corresponding requests will be accepted. According to the note, the Ukrainians were previously made to obtain such visas in the US embassy in Warsaw. Over the meeting the sides also discussed the issues of the international adoption, MIGnews.com.ua reported.
