The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko signed a plan of withdrawal of the peacemaking Ukrainian contingent from Iraq, the secretary of national security and defense Council Peter Poroshenko reported.

According to Poroshenko, the plan provides for the withdrawal of 864 soldieries by rotation. Poroshenko underlines that "the plan is a very particular document which foresees the terms of withdrawal of the Ukrainian troops from Iraq".
