The week of Ukrainian prêt-a-porter "Seasons of fashion" passed in the capital, participants of which were leading national designers. The known Ukrainian artists, sportsmen and politicians were the guests of shows.
Wife of the president of Ukraine Ekaterina Chumachenko was one of the guests. She began to visit "Seasons" being prime minister’s wife, continued to do it as wife of opposition leader and did not change traditions to visit the shows of favourite designers even now, in new status of the first lady, the newspaper "Segodnya" writes.
Ekaterina Chumachenko came to "Seasons of fashion", holding in hands a miniature bag made of a red crocodilian skin, gone well with shoes. The first lady was dressed in a short fur coat made of mink of caramel color. Under it she wore a suit of brown woolen fabric, imitating a tapestry. The slat of coat was embroidered by beads in tone. The suit was made by Roxolana Bogutskaya.
President’s wife likes many Ukrainian designers. "I like Oksana Karavanskaya, Lily Pustovit, and Victor Anisimov",- Ekaterina Chumachenko said to the ForUm’s correspondent.
"I came to "Seasons of fashion" to see fashion tendencies in Ukraine for today . I can draw a conclusion that we go back to the past— to the classics of 80th, 90th".
Speaking with journalists, the first lady of the country reported that in students’ years she did not follow any special style in clothes and "all the time sat in a library in jeans". Today she prefers classic business style.
"I think that our women are the most stylish in Europe and the whole world will understand with the lapse of time that we are the center of fashion. Orange color became very fashionable now in Europe", - the president’s wife declared.
