The city council of Ivano-Francovsk confirmed the so-called "Program of development and functioning of the Ukrainian language on 2004-2006 years", according to which children, communicating with each other, had to use the official language only.

Within the program of "region ukrainization" the special "committee of public linguistic inspection" will control schoolchildren intercourse, attracting representatives of parties and public organizations authorized by the city council to this programm.
Moreover, the city council of Ivano-Francovsk named telephone numbers on which all nationally-conscious habitants of the city should inform about "linguistic violations".
