The scheme of extra charge for enterprises privatized with a breach of law offered by the government of Ukraine will not refer to the industrial complex "Krivorojstal". The Prime Minister Julia Timoshenko declared about it.

Krivorojsky mining and smelting industrial complex 'Krivorojstal" is the largest producer of metal production in Ukraine, market part of which achieves 20%. Production capacities of the enterprise, having a complete production cycle, are intended for annual output of more than 6 million tons of rolled metal, approximately 7 million tons of steel and more than 7,8 million tons of cast iron.
We remind, that the "Investment-metallurgical union", created by the Ukrainian businessmen Victor Pinchuk (proprietor of group "Interpipe") and Rinat Ahmetov (president of Joint-stock Company "SKM"), was announced the winner of sell contest and acquired control packet of shares of "Krivorojstal" on June, 14, 2004. The winner paid 4 milliards 260 million gryvnas (about $800 million) as opposed to starting price 3,8 milliards for 93,02-percent of state packet.
