The cabinet of ministers of Ukraine abolished the decision of former government concerning exemption to the ex-president Leonid Kuchma.

According to data from Department of Justice, previous government, adopting this document, exceeded the plenary powers.

As reported before, in accordance with the decision of Cabinet from January, 19 (for official use only),  signed by acting premier Nickolay Azarov, the ex-president of Ukraine will get state cash benefit, two helpers, an adviser and a guard. A summer residence, two cars and four drivers are also passed to Kuchma in the lifelong use.

As Premier Julia Timoshenko declared, commenting Saturday abolition of decision, Verhovna Rada would consider "a bill concerning all presidents and a system of their defence guarantees".

According to the premier, the decision of previous Cabinet concerning Kuchma "was illegal in fact".
