At the end of meeting in Brussels George Bush, having conversation with journalists in live broadcast of the TV channel "Euronews", called president of Russia Vladimir Putin to explain his decisions.
Answering the question, whether official Moscow does not retreat from principles of democracy, Bush declared that he liked "countries with an independent and free press".
However in Russia some of home policy decisions were accepted concerning free press. Many countries, especially Baltic, expressed an anxiety concerning these actions.
"I want to pass their words to president Putin, and I am sure that extremely important for Vladimir Putin to explain why he makes one or another decision. Except for it we have a lot of questions for discussion, such as defense of nuclear weapon that will do life of many people more safe; we will also talk about democratic values", - president of the USA marked.
