Yesterday consul of Embassy of Ukraine in Greek Republic conducted negotiations with a local agent company which is engaged in the questions of recommitting to Ukraine of eight rescued crew members of ship "Sea Rey", which sunken on February, 14 near-by island Crete.

According to the head of press-service of MFA of Ukraine Markian Lubkivsky, the Ukrainian diplomat also met with Ukrainian sailors, two of which still remain in a local hospital on rehabilitation treatment, and six are in one of city  Hania hotels, "UNIAN" informs.

He marked also, that Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine had to establish, that search of two Ukrainian sailors, disappeared because of accident, did not give results.

On February, 14, the ship "Sea Rey" (flag of Saint-Vincent) went down near island Crete. Ten members of crew were citizens of Ukraine. 8 Ukrainian sailors were rescued and lifted aboard by the ship "Inka Dede" (flag of Antigua), which landed the citizens of Ukraine in port of Sud (island Crete).

"Sea Rey" was being bound from Turkey to Libya. The catastrophe happened as a result of displacement of load on the ship deck and in the hold.
