Almost three thousand and a half habitants of mountain Transcarpathian village appeared to be cut off "outer world" because of avalanching. It was reported in press-service of Emergency Control Ministry of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
As a result of avalanching, a snow stream, three hundred meters wide and from 2 to 5 meters high blocked the only road connecting this settlement with other villages of district.
According to the habitants of settlement, the avalanching took place on this segment the day before, but snow slides were comparatively insignificant. Information about the extraordinary incident was reported by rural chairman, who informed that a single car can neither enter nor drive out this settlement. To liquidate jam with the help of improvised means is impossible.
It is the sixth avalanching during two previous days. Yesterday the roads of different value appeared in critical situation. Presently vehicular traffic is regenerated.
